Refined was founded from my conviction that quality requires time and attention. I consciously choose small-scale projects, because a space can only be finished well when there is the calm to observe, to feel and to work with care.
I was trained as a painter and later completed studies in construction, specialising in restoration. That focus on restoration has strongly influenced my view on finishing. I do not believe everything needs to be new to be valuable. Often, the strength lies in preserving, restoring and refining what is already there.

In my free time, out of care for what exists.
During my career, I worked both in an office environment and in the concrete industry. That gave me technical knowledge and structure, but over time I realised something was missing: working with my hands, seeing a space take shape, and having direct contact with people.
What draws me to painting and finishing is the moment when everything comes together. When colours, materials and finishes align. When a space once again feels calm and someone can truly feel at home in it. That requires more than technique alone. It requires attention.
Alongside my professional path, I worked on several renovation projects in a private context. There I learned how important the process is: how people live in a space, what they need, and how much difference careful work can make.

Careful finishing, allowing wood to breathe and remain resistant to weather and time.
Today, I personally guide each project from preparation to completion. I often work in lived-in spaces and am always aware that I am a guest in someone’s home. That is why I work cleanly, thoughtfully and with respect.
My focus lies on painting works, decorative custom finishes and small-scale projects where detail and material experience are central. I continue to deepen my knowledge of microcement techniques, with attention to training, practice and correct application. For applications that require more extensive technical guarantees, I collaborate with experienced specialists.
I give honest advice. Sometimes an idea is technically feasible; sometimes a surface requires more attention than initially visible. In that case, we look together at the right course of action. I would rather clarify what is and is not possible beforehand than compromise on quality afterwards.
An initial conversation is without obligation. It is a moment to see whether your project and my way of working are a good fit.
I work calmly, with attention and without haste.
Because I believe that is what makes the difference.
